Caleb Cook named Volunteer of Year

Caleb Cook has been named the 2018 Robins Civic Club Volunteer of Year in recognition of his community service and many hours of volunteering, all of which speaks highly of his heart to serve, the Robins Civic Club said.

With the honor comes a $200 award to be given to a non-profit of his choosing; and his name will be added to the Volunteer of the Year plaque at Robins City Hall.

One of many service and leadership roles he provides is a program which focuses on "Celebrating Our Diversity through Dance." He introduced a dance therapy curriculum into schools for individuals with special needs, to empower all students to reach there full potential.

Caleb also is an active volunteer with Camp Courageous of Iowa, Special Olympics of Iowa, Linn-Mar Buddies, Robins Civic Club and helped organize and facilitate several fundraisers.

Caleb has chosen to give his $200 award to Camp Courageous of Iowa.
