Advertisement Polling location changes for Linn County August 1 Special Election

The following precincts have a new polling location for future county-wide elections including the August 1, 2017, special county election.

All poll locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on August 1.

Linn County Precinct:

Cedar Rapids 24 now at Westminster Presbyterian Church located at 1285 3rd Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids

Marion 02 now at Thomas Park Safe Room located at 343 Marion Blvd., Marion

Grant Township now at Walker City Park Gazebo located at 309 Park St., Walker

Cedar Rapids 07 and 15 are combined at Christ Episcopal Church located at 220 40th St. NE, Cedar Rapids

Cedar Rapids 17 and 22 are combined at First Lutheran Church located at 1000 3rd Ave. SE, Cedar Rapids

Cedar Rapids 43 and 44 are combined at Kirkwood Community College - Rec Center located at 6301 Kirkwood Blvd. SW, Cedar Rapids

Clinton Township and Cedar Rapids 31 are combined at Cedar Hills Community Church located at 6455 E Ave. NW, Cedar Rapids

Hiawatha 02 and 03 are combined at Hiawatha City Hall - Community Center Room located at 101 Emmons St., Hiawatha

Monroe Township 01 and Hiawatha 04 are combined at King of Kings Lutheran Church located at 3275 N. Center Point Rd., Cedar Rapids



Postcard notices of these changes will be mailed to the households of registered voters within the district. These notices should be arriving at households by mid-July.

As with all elections, absentee voting will continue to be available before Election Day. Voters may vote absentee in-person at the Auditor's Office or vote by mail, if requested by July 28.
